Shanghai Opera House's Turandot has two performances at the Shanghai Grand Opera House's Harmony Hall, on 20 and 22 November. The hall's mini-program shows tickets go on sale at 12:00 on 28 October, with a 10% early-bird discount on prices at 480 yuan and above.

The community tickets are 80 yuan, and the seats have a partially obstructed view. The opera house's WeChat mini-program releases a 50-yuan voucher at 12:00 on 19 October; there are 120 vouchers, one per account. Voucher holders buy at the box office on 21 October, up to 2 tickets for each opera.

The Vienna Johann Strauss Orchestra plays the Shanghai Concert Hall's two New Year's Eve concerts, both now on sale; the same night's Strauss New Year concert at the Shanghai Grand Theatre is sold out; at the Oriental Art Center, a Beethoven show on 13 December went on sale on 15 October.

American Ballet Theatre's Swan Lake has five November performances at the Shanghai Grand Opera House and went on sale on 23 September. At the Shanghai Concert Hall, the Dresden String Quintet and Fabio Biondi with Europa Galante went on sale on 16 and 11 September. The three Mozart Chamber Music Week programmes are also listed.

On 29 September at 13:00, tickets went on sale for Marc Coppey's cello recital (4 November) and the three Mozart Chamber Music Week concerts (1, 5 and 7 November) in the Open Stage of the Shanghai Grand Opera House. Rudolf Buchbinder and the Staatskapelle Berlin play all five Beethoven piano concertos on 7 and 9 November in the Soar Theatre of the Shanghai Grand Opera House. Buchbinder directs from the piano. Tickets opened on every channel at 15:00 on 29 September, 280 to 1280 yuan.

Sales opened on 24 September for the first four concerts in the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra's Chinese Beethoven series and for Jan Lisiecki's recital. The 2027 Shanghai New Year Concert on 29 January is sold out. Permit 沪文旅许[2026]5372号 adds a 30 January performance, which the box office has not listed. SHOAC has added one performance each of Silk Road Flower Rain, Swan Lake and La Bayadère.

Two concerts are sold out at the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra's box office: Dutoit and Leonskaja on 7 October, and Poga and Zhang Haochen on 29 May 2027. Two Shanghai Philharmonic concerts are on sale: Zhang Yi conducts Richard Strauss on 30 October, and Michel Tabachnik conducts Haydn and Mahler on 15 November. The SSO's six Music Map Class afternoons opened sale on 17 September, at 100 to 220 yuan.

At 16:00 on 10 September the Shanghai Grand Opera House announced that on the 11th it will release partially obstructed seats at 10:00, 10:30, 11:00 and 11:30 — one clock each for Tosca, Aida, Der Rosenkavalier and the Shostakovich symphonies cycle — sold only through its WeChat mini-program, limit six per order, with the 80-yuan community tickets excluded. The same day, Anna Geniushene's recital at the Shanghai Grand Theatre went on sale at 16:00 with its programme published for the first time, and Diana Krall at the Oriental Art Center opened at 14:00.

The 25th China Shanghai International Arts Festival sells its first round of discount tickets at five Bailian mall counters on 15 September from 10:00 to 13:00: 45 productions and exhibitions, about 4,300 tickets, at half the face price. Six tickets per person, two per production, no seat selection, no refunds. Remaining tickets go online in the Yihui 101 mini-programme from 09:30 on 17 September. Dates, venues and prices for the 13 concerts and 15 dance productions are below.

musicAeterna's 14 and 15 October concerts went on sale at 13:00 on 8 September as announced, with plenty of seats left. The 13 September SSO opening concert had sold out; at 00:36 on 9 September the system showed 4 seats. The presenter gave 17:30 on 8 September for Shanghai Concert Hall's three November piano recitals, and the hall's website had not listed them by early 9 September.

The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra brings its eightieth-anniversary season to Shanghai for one night on 9 November at the SHOAC Concert Hall. Tickets open on 28 August at 14:00; prices have not been published. Three works: Butterworth, Tan Dun's Wolf Totem for double bass, and Stravinsky's Petrushka in the 1947 version. Separately, the Volchok piano recital of 27 September has been cancelled.

The Shanghai Symphony Orchestra has added seats to six concerts between 11 September and 13 October. They go on sale at 13:00 on 28 August, from 80 yuan, and the announcement says the view from them is obstructed. The Hadelich recital on 22 September moves to a ballot, one ticket per mobile number.

The Vienna Philharmonic plays two nights at the Shanghai Oriental Art Center, on 19 and 20 October, and the programmes are entirely different. Lang Lang appears only on the 19th, as soloist in Beethoven's Fourth Piano Concerto; the 20th is Mozart's Fortieth and Tchaikovsky's Fourth with no soloist. The two nights are ticketed separately across nine price bands from ¥380 to ¥2880, and the two cheapest are real-name only.

The Shanghai Philharmonic's Approach SPO chamber series plays twice in September, on the 12th and the 19th, both in the orchestra's own recital hall at 1498 Wuding Road West, with three price bands at ¥80 / 121 / 221. The 12th is an evening of arrangements, cello and wind sextet in Tchaikovsky, Glazunov, Fauré and Saint-Saëns; the 19th is Ravel, Liszt, Milhaud and Dvořák, with the Liszt played on the harp.

The last 16 performances of the Phantom of the Opera 40th-anniversary Shanghai farewell season, 15 to 27 December, went on public sale at 11:00 on 25 August, which puts all 102 sittings of the run on sale. Checked sitting by sitting at 13:30 the same day, the closing night on 27 December already reads sold out. The earliest seat still available anywhere in the run is the matinee of 11 October, and most of what is left is in December.

The Shanghai culture bureau revoked the licence for the 27 September Volchok piano recital on 18 August. Re-checked at midday on 21 August, SHOAC's ticketing system was still selling it. In the same batch, the November Swan Lake was licensed again a month after being cancelled, and we have added the two sittings we were missing.

Two more concerts in the same building are on sale: a Chinese chamber programme on 29 August and a harp-and-guzheng duo on 5 November. All three are hall rentals, so none appears in the orchestra's own season book.

The August 17 maintenance pass. It started with one WeChat link about a Lang Lang recital and turned up something worse: BOCOM New Bund 31, a 2,500-seat house and the largest indoor theatre in the city, had never been in our venue table, while six of its permits had sat in our own archive since March. It is in now, with the two concerts there that are days away.
