SSO: Currentzis plays Beethoven on 14 October and Mozart on 15 October, on sale 8 September at 13:00; three Shanghai Concert Hall piano recitals open at 17:30
Which of the tour's two programmes falls on which Shanghai night had gone unsaid since the August permit. The orchestra said it this afternoon. The same evening, Shanghai Concert Hall opens three piano recitals -- Alexeev, Perianes, Osborne -- in one release.

On the afternoon of 7 September the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra published the programmes for musicAeterna's two Shanghai nights and put both on sale at 13:00 on 8 September. Until now the only public record was permit 沪文旅许[2026]4716号, issued on 26 August, which said one concert on 14 October and one on 15 October. The tour carries two programmes, and nobody had said which night took which.
14 October, 19:30, is all Beethoven: the Coriolan overture Op. 62, the Fourth Symphony Op. 60 and the Seventh Symphony Op. 92, with the interval after the Fourth.
15 October, 19:30, is all Mozart: the Figaro overture, the Twenty-Third Piano Concerto K. 488 and the "Jupiter" Symphony K. 551. The concerto soloist is Eva Gevorgyan, born in Moscow in 2004 and a finalist at the Eighteenth Chopin International Piano Competition.
Both nights are in the Main Hall of Jaguar Shanghai Symphony Hall. Six price bands -- 280, 480, 680, 880, 1080 and 1280 yuan, the 1280 marked VIP -- with a limit of four tickets per order, sold through the orchestra's website and its WeChat mini-program at the same moment. The programmes differ and the two nights are sold separately. The tour runs 11-19 October across Guangzhou, Shanghai and Beijing, five concerts, two of them here.
At 17:30 the same day, Shanghai Concert Hall releases three piano recitals together, all in the Main Hall and all at 19:30: Dmitri Alexeev on 1 November, Javier Perianes on 7 November and Steven Osborne on 29 November. In the hall's own second-half season preview, published in July, the Perianes night is his Shanghai recital debut and the Osborne night his first solo recital on the Chinese mainland. Prices, purchase limits and programmes are all still unpublished for the three; we will fill them in once the sale opens.
