The concert calendar now has subscription support for iPhone, Google and Outlook calendars
From 16 October you can subscribe to the concert calendar on your phone or computer. The subscription can carry every concert, every on-sale time, or a pick by form, venue, composer or artist. Additions and corrections sync on their own.

Starting 16 October 2026, you can subscribe to the Shanghai Concerts calendar in the iPhone, iPad and Mac calendar, in Google Calendar and in Outlook. A reader asked for an ics subscription so they could follow concerts in their phone's calendar. The subscription page is here. No account is needed.
Available calendars: all concerts; ticket sales, listing every announced on-sale time and an alert 10 minutes before each; one per musical form, including symphonic, chamber, recital or opera; and one per venue. On every venue, composer, artist and ensemble page there is also a Subscribe link to a calendar covering only that page's concerts.
In the concert calendars, one performance is one entry: venue, programme, ticket prices and a link to its page. If the start time has not been announced, the performance shows as all-day. If the running time has not been announced, it shows as two hours. A cancelled performance does not disappear; it is marked Cancelled. Past performances remain for 30 days. After you subscribe, new concerts, time corrections and cancellations appear in your calendar by themselves.
To subscribe on an iPhone, open the subscription page, tap Subscribe beside a calendar and confirm in the Calendar app. The same page gives the steps for Google Calendar, Android and Outlook.
Correction: where the start time had not been announced, the add-to-calendar file on a concert page used to fill in 19:30. It now adds an all-day entry on that date instead.
