SSO: Jan Lisiecki and the first four Chinese Beethoven recitals are on sale; sold-out New Year Concert gains a second night on 30 January
Sales opened on 24 September for the first four concerts in the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra's Chinese Beethoven series and for Jan Lisiecki's recital. The 2027 Shanghai New Year Concert on 29 January is sold out. Permit 沪文旅许[2026]5372号 adds a 30 January performance, which the box office has not listed. SHOAC has added one performance each of Silk Road Flower Rain, Swan Lake and La Bayadère.

Sales for the first four concerts of the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra's Chinese Beethoven series opened at 13:00 on 24 September, with a limit of four per order. The series is held for the 200th anniversary of Beethoven's death in 2027 and spans two seasons. It brings 11 Chinese pianists, each giving one concert, all starting at 19:15 in the SSO Hall's chamber hall.
- Thursday 17 December: Kajeng Wong, 80 to 380 yuan, with the Hammerklavier Sonata after the interval
- Friday 22 January 2027: Jiayan Sun, 80 to 280 yuan
- Saturday 27 February 2027: Jianing Kong, 80 to 280 yuan
- Friday 26 March 2027: Tony Siqi Yun, 80 to 380 yuan, on the 200th anniversary of Beethoven's death
Jan Lisiecki's piano recital on Wednesday 9 December at 19:30 in the main hall opened at 14:00 on 24 September, in four bands from 180 to 480 yuan, limit four per order. The programme is all dances.
Music Puzzle of Brahms is on Saturday 31 October at 19:15 in the chamber hall. The violinist Liu Ming devised the all-Brahms evening, which runs about 70 minutes with no interval. It opened at 13:00 on 22 September, in three bands from 80 to 200 yuan.
A second night added for the New Year Concert
The 2027 Shanghai New Year Concert is sold out for 29 January. Long Yu, Yo-Yo Ma, Wu Tong, Wu Man and the SSO appear. Permit 沪文旅许[2026]5372号, approved on 23 September, adds a performance on Saturday 30 January at 19:30 in the main hall. As of 28 September the SSO box office has not listed it, and no sale time has been published.
The concert for the 90th anniversary of the Long March, on 30 September, is sold out as well.
Three more performances added at SHOAC
All three take place in the SHOAC Opera Hall, and carry the same prices as the existing performances.

- Saturday 26 December, 14:00: the Tatarstan ballet's Swan Lake, on sale since 13:40 on 18 September, 180 to 1,280 yuan
- Sunday 27 December, 19:15: the Tatarstan ballet's La Bayadère, on sale since 13:45 on 18 September, 180 to 1,280 yuan
