About the performance

Stan Lai's play, first staged in 1986 and revived in 2026 for its fortieth anniversary in the staging billed as the classic version, with Huang Lei, He Jiong and Sun Li. Its structure puts two companies in one rehearsal room: a tragedy, Secret Love, alternating with a comedy, Peach Blossom Land, until the two collide.
