Paul Lewis Piano Recital

Paul Lewis's first Shanghai recital, a stop on the “Mozart+” tour of his 2026-27 season. The sonatas K. 330 and K. 457 anchor the two halves, with Poulenc's fifteen Improvisations and Debussy's L'Isle joyeuse between them, later composers used to throw light back on Mozart. Lewis has said he never accepted the common view that the sonatas are lesser than the concertos, and this programme is his answer to it.
