Night of Classical Masters: Beethoven Classics (Symphony of Destiny)
About the performance

The Shanghai Zhiyin Orchestra performs a Beethoven concert, presented by 上海帆诗文化发展有限公司. The presenter says Beethoven's life is told through narration and spoken-theatre scenes, with large painted backdrops and eighteenth-century court costume; music plays between the scenes. No conductor or soloist has been named.

Fourteen items by Beethoven, pieces or excerpts, are on the presenter's list. Für Elise, the Moonlight Sonata and two movements of the Pathétique Sonata are among them, as are the Spring Sonata, the Fifth and Sixth Symphonies, the Choral Fantasy, the Missa Solemnis and the Ode to Joy from the Ninth Symphony. The list credits no arranger and names no choir or singer. The programme may change, and so may its order.
