About the performance
Markus Stenz conducts a concert performance of Das Rheingold, the last instalment of a Ring the orchestra has staged over four years. It gave Die Walküre in the 2023-24 season, Siegfried in November 2024 and Götterdämmerung in November 2025, so this cycle ends with the prologue rather than beginning with it. Matthias Goerne sings Wotan.
