2026 Oriental Citizens' Concert: Russian Romances - Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory Chamber Choir
About the performance
The Chamber Choir of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory comes to Shanghai for one Saturday morning at 10:00. The choir was founded within the conservatory in 1994 and draws its singers from there; Alexander Solovyov is its artistic director and chief conductor. The programme is billed as Russian romances — the nineteenth-century Russian art song, from Glinka through Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninov, written for one voice and piano and reaching a choir by way of later arrangers. Which of them will be sung has not been announced. SHOAC Concert Hall, about 70 minutes, a single price band at 80 yuan.
