About the performance
The choir is Slovakia's Lúčnica Choir (Spevácky zbor Lúčnica). It was founded in 1948 as part of the Lúčnica art ensemble and is conducted by Elena Matušová. The Lingang Performing Arts Center's announcement calls it the Slovak National Choir. The concert forms part of the 25th China Shanghai International Arts Festival's Art Sky programme. According to the announcement, the programme takes in classical pieces, Eastern European folk music and film songs, but no list is given. The permit names one piece only: We Are the World, the 1985 charity single.
