Future Masters: Dialogue with the Gold Medal — Amber Quartet and Wang Liya

The Amber Quartet, founded in 2005 and the first Chinese quartet to take first prize at an international chamber competition, is joined by Wang Liya, winner of the 74th Munich ARD Competition. The first half runs from the Andante cantabile of Tchaikovsky's First Quartet to Schnittke's Third; the second sets Scriabin's Fantasie against Shostakovich's G minor Piano Quintet of 1940.
