Harmony under the Moon — A Mid-Autumn Concert of East and West

About the performance

The Lincoln Jazz Shanghai big band gives a Mid-Autumn concert under the direction of saxophonist Walter Blanding. The musical-theatre singers Zhang Huifang and Dai Wei appear, with Cai Bingru on erhu. Running time is about 90 minutes. Jazz makes up the programme. Moon-themed standards include Fly Me To The Moon, Moon River and Blue Moon. There are two Chinese songs, The Moon Represents My Heart and The Crooked Moon, alongside other jazz numbers such as What A Wonderful World.

Tickets

Tickets have been on sale since the Shanghai Changtan Music Hall announced the concert on its WeChat account on 6 August 2026. Six price bands: 99, 180, 280, 380, 480 and 580 yuan, sold through the hall's WeChat mini-program.
