Vasily Petrenko

Biography
Born in Leningrad in 1976, Vasily Petrenko has been Music Director of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra since 2021. He spent fifteen years as Chief Conductor of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, from 2006 to 2021, and led the Oslo Philharmonic from 2013 to 2020.
