Steven Isserlis

Biography

Born in London in 1958, Steven Isserlis was appointed CBE in 1998. He has been artistic director of the International Musicians Seminar at Prussia Cove since 1997, often plays on gut strings following historical performance practice, and has written several books about composers for children.
