Biography
Russian bass, a 1987 graduate of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory under Yevgeny Nesterenko and a soloist of the Bolshoi since 1990; he now teaches at the conservatory. He has appeared at La Scala, the Metropolitan Opera and Frankfurt.
