Li Hui

Pipa player and teacher, professor and doctoral supervisor in the Chinese instruments department of the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. She has taught for more than thirty years and founded the Pipa Dance Chamber Ensemble in 2007, working with composers to commission and premiere new pipa chamber music. Her vinyl record Qinglian Yuefu, issued by China Record Corporation, was designated a national key publication.
