Kit Armstrong

Pianist and composer, born in Los Angeles in 1992 to Taiwanese parents. He read music and mathematics side by side, studying at the Curtis Institute, the Royal Academy of Music in London and Paris VI, and worked with Alfred Brendel over many years. In 2012 he bought a derelict thirteenth-century church in the Aisne, in northern France, and turned it into a concert hall where he has presented concerts ever since. His recordings centre on Bach, Liszt and Baroque keyboard music.
