Biography
A pianist who entered the Berklee College of Music at fourteen as its youngest student, then took his bachelor's and master's at the Manhattan School of Music and studied with Dmitri Bashkirov and Ferenc Rados. He won first prize at the tenth Arthur Rubinstein Competition and took both the Gilmore Artist Award and the Avery Fisher Career Grant in 2010. His premiere recording of Thomas Adès's Piano Concerto with the Boston Symphony won a 2020 Gramophone Award. His repertoire runs from the baroque to the contemporary and into jazz.
