Ensemble Schönbrunn Amsterdam

A period-instrument group founded by the flautist Marten Root more than thirty-five years ago. Its size changes with the repertoire, from trio to nonet, and its programmes run from Frescobaldi to Debussy, mixing known works with pieces Root has found in libraries across Europe. Much of its discography is on Globe Records.
