Camille Thomas

French-Belgian cellist, born in Paris in 1988. She began at four and studied with Marcel Bardon, Stephan Forck, Frans Helmerson and Wolfgang Emanuel Schmidt. In 2017 she signed an exclusive contract with Deutsche Grammophon, the only woman cellist the label had taken on in more than forty years. Her albums include Voice of Hope (2020, made with UNICEF) and The Chopin Project (2021).
